Cancellations

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on my calendar that is no longer available to my other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please email me as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, I require that you get in touch at least 24 hours in advance at emmadradybotanical@gmail.com. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.


A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time, in this instance you will be charged 50% of the consultation fee. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling, in this instance you will be charged a 100%  of the consultation fee.

I am human and understand there are events outside of our control so I may make exceptions for certain situations.

Privacy

I collect your personal information for the primary purpose of providing my health services to you, responding to your enquiries, delivering products & services, improving those services and marketing. I only collect your information with your consent and awareness such as when you submit an enquiry or email me.

I understand some information is particularly sensitive such as your medical history, prescriptions, pathology, test results, diet and lifestyle habits.

Sensitive information will be viewed and used by me only:

  • For the primary purpose for which it was obtained such as to understand your presenting case, clinical health picture and to formulate a treatment plan.

  • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose

  • With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.

Your personal information is stored in a way that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. I use a cloud-based client management system named Cliniko, which I may use to store your personal information. 

Your personal information will be stored in my client management system for a minimum of 7 years. After this point, I will take reasonable steps to delete your personal information. I do not keep hard copy files, therefore I rely on digital deletion to the best of my ability.
